Trading and Manufacturing

In the early beginnings of Styland Group’s trading business, the Group primarily carried out import, export and re-exports of consumer products. The products were mainly procured from Southeast Asia and subsequently exported to the Eastern European countries. The Group reaped excellent results through its trading business. As such, the Group decided to expand into the manufacturing business to produce its own house brands for distribution. Factories were established in China and Myanmar to manufacture sweaters and electronic consumer goods. The Group achieved a major milestone in its trading sector by successfully penetrating the Western European and USA markets.

Kalomex (International) Limited is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Group. Kalomex was primarily engaged in the import and export of consumer products encompassing clothing and electronic products. Kalomex’s products were distributed to customers around the globe. We sought the best quality raw materials for manufacturing our garments. For instance, we utilized the highest grade of wool to manufacture our sweaters. Additionally, we produced highly demanded cashmere blends such as the cashmere and silk blend, and other popular cashmere combinations. With our advanced production techniques and high-quality manufacturing facilities, Kalomex had developed a successful track record marketing its house brands to Max & Mara, BCBG, Austin Reed, C&A, and other world renowned apparel companies.
